Name: Tot Time Gym/Park Time [10-12] Description: MONDAY MORNING TOT TIME GYM TIME: A growing crowd! Parents…this is a great time to get to know other families in Carver. Grab your tennies and have a ball at Carver’s open gym time. FREE! Everyone is welcome. You need not be a resident of Carver. Hool-a-hoops, parachute, and balls provided. Mondays, 10-12. Name: Youth Open Gym 3:30-4:30 Description: shoot a few hoops, jump a rope, be the Monkey in the Middle. WHITE-soled shoes only please. Name: Carver Kids Choir Description: Come and sing, sing a sonng with friends from our community! Kids ages preschool-early elementary are invited to join us for some simply silly songs. Name: PJ Story Time - 7PM Description: Wear your jammies andn snuggle in for a cozy bedtime story at Funky Minds. Along wih good books, we'll also share a bedime snack of cookies and milk. Name: Thursday Mornings: The Open Door Description: You don’t need to be a preschooler to stop in at Funky Minds on Thursday mornings. We would love to have a few grandparents come by to share their wisdom and bounce a baby for a minute or two. (…or even drop in with a homemade goodie. Name: Thursdays After School [4:45-6] Description: THURSDAYS AFTER SCHOOL: School age kids are invited to drop in after school on Thursday afternoons from 4:45-6. Whether art adventure or gym time, there will always be something on our minds. Open Gym: Please join us after school for some fun. Bring a note from your folks! (And, white soled or nonskid tennis shoes please.) Film Canister Rockets: David is fascinated with the rocket fun he learned from 4-Hers. Come have a blast as he shares what he has learned. Name: Dragonfly Gazette - 4:45-6 Description: DRAGONFLY GAZETTE: Superintendent David Jennings as well as other special guests will join us on Thursday, November 2 to kick off this edition of the Dragonfly Gazette. Students ages elementary through high school are invited to help create the next edition of the Dragonfly Gazette, Carver’s very own youth lead, community newspaper. Interview folks from business, sports, government, schools, and more. Kids take pictures and help with the layout, too. Thanks to Tama Westman, author and reporter, for mentoring our youth. Thursdays, November 2, 9, and 16 from 4:45-6.
